A celebration of the life of a fallen officer will be held this week in Moncton.
35 year old RCMP Constable Francis Deschenes was killed last week on Highway 2 near Memramcook.
He had pulled over to assist a motorist change a tire, when a van collided with his police cruiser and the SUV he was assisting.
A special mass will be held at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church on Botsford Street in Moncton on Wednesday.
RCMP are still asking for information from anyone who may have seen the van or the accident.
