Moncton hosts 2024 Everest Canadian Curling Senior Championships

Get your brushes ready — the 2024 Everest Canadian Curling Senior Championship has kicked off in Moncton.

The event hosted by Curl Moncton runs from Sunday through Saturday and welcomes Canada’s top 50-and-over curling teams.

A total of 14 men’s and women’s teams are competing to represent Canada at the 2025 World Senior Curling Championships.

The New Brunswick men’s team from Curl Moncton includes Mike Kennedy, Grant Odishaw, Marc and Vance LeCocq.

The women’s team from Fredericton’s Capital Winter Club features Shelly Graham, Debbie McCann, Robyn Witherell and Shelley Murray.

These seasoned players have a history of competing in prestigious events like the Brier and Scotties.

The championship finals will take place on Saturday at 3:30 p.m.
