Moncton Man Pleads Guilty To Manslaughter In 2017 Stabbing Death

A Moncton man will be sentenced later this month for the stabbing death of another man last year.

Jesse James Perry-Belliveau pleaded guilty to a reduced charge of manslaughter yesterday.

He was originally charged with second degree murder..

In January of 2017, RCMP responded to a fight on Elmwood Drive and a short time later, 47 year old Rodney Perry was found in a car that had crashed into a pole..

He was suffering from stab wounds and was pronounced dead at hospital.
