Moncton Man Sentenced For Stabbing Cab Driver

A 19-year-old Moncton man has been sentenced to seven years in prison for attacking a cab driver in St. Leonard.

Jules Cote pleaded guilty to aggravated assault after stabbing a cab driver twice in the throat last November.

Cote was originally from the Grand Falls area but had moved to Moncton.

The 58-year-old victim was seriously injured in the attack but treated in hospital and later released.
