More Financial Information From The Oland Trial

There was more financial information regarding Dennis and Richard Oland divulged during day # 27 of Dennis’ second-degree murder trial.

Richard’s longtime friend and business associate Robert (Bob) McFadden was back on the stand for further cross-examination by Defence lawyer Michael Lacy.

Defence lawyer Michael Lacy asked McFadden about the half-million dollar loan that Richard made to Dennis to help him after a divorce.

He also talked about a mortgage Richard had given Dennis with a yearly payment of $10,000 for a piece of adjacent property to Dennis’ home at 58 Gondola Point Road in Rothesay. He told the court Richard to him didn’t have an issue with Dennis not paying back the loan as soon as possible.

He also talked about Oland being a close talker who says would invade your space and, grab your arm and whisper in your ear when speaking to you.

Dennis Oland is accused of killing his father on July 6, 2011. The court will now resume Tuesday morning at 930.
