More residential units for Saint John’s Waterloo Village

Nearly three dozen more residential units are coming to Saint John’s Waterloo Village neighbourhood.

A rezoning application for the former Roman Catholic Diocese offices on Bayard Street was approved by council on Monday.

Developer Michael Wowchuk plans to create 25 residential units in the existing building with an eight-unit addition to the rear of the building in a future phase.

The developer said in his application that he hopes to have the first phase of the project completed by January.
