More Than 100 Tickets Issued During Parking Ban

Dozens of tickets were issued during Friday night’s parking ban in the north, east and west areas of Saint John.

City spokesperson Nathalie Logan said 122 tickets were issued between Friday night and early Saturday morning.

Logan said one vehicle was also towed during the ban, which ran from midnight Friday night until 7 a.m. Saturday.

The temporary overnight parking ban was declared as the fourth significant storm of 2022 moved through the region.

Environment Canada said near 15 centimetres of ice pellets mixed with snow fell along the Fundy coast as of 10 p.m. Friday.
