An investigation is underway by the Mounties after human remains were discovered about 25 kilometres northwest of Stanley in Napadogan.
On Wednesday, a hunter in a wooded area off of Route 107 found a vehicle with a body inside.
Police say the vehicle matches the description and licence plate of the one 43-year-old Susan Lee of Newcastle Creek, who was reported missing in July, was last seen driving.
RCMP say an autopsy has been ordered to determine who the person is and their cause of death.
