New Brunswick added eight new cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday.
The Moncton region, Zone 1, has two new cases, both contacts of previously confirmed cases while the Fredericton area, Zone 3, has four new cases with two being contacts of previous cases.
One case is being investigated and the other is travel-related.
Zone 4, the Edmundston region, has two new cases with one case a contact of a previously confirmed case and the other is travel-related.
23 people recovered since Tuesday bringing the number of active cases to 122.
Four patients are in the hospital, two of whom are in the ICU.
Public Health said a small group from Fredericton High School may have been exposed to COVID-19 from a source outside of the school.
This group is self-isolating and being tested as a precaution and the school community was notified.
FHS remains open and students who haven’t been contacted by Public Health should keep attending school.

Eight cases are linked to the outbreak at Magee House, an apartment-style residence at UNB Fredericton.
Residents, family members and staff of Magee House were retested on Wednesday.
The staff and residents who live at the Elizabeth Parr-Johnston residence were tested Tuesday and are waiting for the results.
Everyone is self-isolating.
Public Health and university officials are working together to provide support and to further assess the COVID-19 situation on the campus.
