N.B. Firefighters Return From Battling B.C. Wildfires

New Brunswick firefighters who left for B.C. on July 10 to help battle the wildfires are now back on home soil.

A second group of firefighters send to the province last week are still there.

In a release, energy and resource development minister Rick Doucet says all New Brunswickers can be extremely proud of the work our firefighters have done and continue to do to help fellow Canadians in this time of need.

New Brunswick is a member of the Canadian Interagency Forest Fire Centre, which helps coordinate mutual aid among provinces.
