N.B. Green MLAs To Visit Saint John

Saint John residents will have a chance to meet New Brunswick’s three Green Party MLAs.

David Coon, Megan Mitton and Kevin Arseneau will hold a question-and-answer session in the city Wednesday night.

“My main goal is for people to see and hear three MLAs that are totally honest and authentic,” said Marco Morency, the party’s executive director.

Morency said they held a similar event in Moncton last June and it worked out perfectly.

He said bringing the three MLAs to the Saint John region was something local party members had asked for.

“It’s the best way to attract people to our party, and members in the Saint John region know that, so they want to increase numbers, and of course, we’re getting ready for an election,” said Morency.

“We are a young party so people need to get to know us and that’s the perfect opportunity.”

The Q-and-A will take place at the Nick Nicolle Community Centre in the north end from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday.
