A man wanted on a Canada-wide warrant in connection with a violent home invasion on the Kingsclear First Nation in December of year has been arrested.
24-year-old Dustin Sacobie of the Kingsclear First Nation was charged with aggravated assault, unlawful confinement, robbery, and break and enter in February and a Canada-wide warrant was issued for his arrest.
The home invasion happened on December 18, 2017.
He was arrested in Fredericton on Thursday afternoon without incident by the city police department with the help of the West District RCMP’s Crime Reduction Unit.
