A strong smell of natural gas leak at 524 Westmorland Road at Glengary Drive in Forest Hills.
The smell was coming from a pipe going into a home but the level, while of concern, wasn’t high enough to be considered explosive.
The fire department and Enbridge Gas are keeping a close watch.
If levels go higher, nearby homes will have to be evacuated. In case that has to be orered, a City Transit bus has been requested.
Some of the fire apparatus has been released from the scene.
Westmorland Road will be closed between Kervin Road and Golden Grove Road due to a natural gas leak.
