NB Doctors Cycling Against Cancer Raises $35,000

The battle against Cancer in New Brunswick got a significant leg up this week.

A team of cyclists from the Horizon Health network rode throughout the province to raise money for new medical and telecommunications technology for the oncology clinical trials prorgam at The Moncton Hospital.

They raised 35-thousand dollars, beating their stated goal by 10-thousand dollars.

Since leaving Moncton on Monday, the cyclists covered 5-hundred kilometres with stops in Sussex, Fredericton, Miramichi and Kouchibouguac before returning today.
