NB Firefighters Continue To Assist With Wildfire Efforts In BC

More New Brunswick firefighters have headed to British Columbia to help in the efforts to fight wildfires.

A division supervisor and a strike team leader from the Department of Energy and Resource Development left yesterday for Kamloops. They will join other New Brunswick staff already in British Columbia.

Today, four forest rangers and four fire crew members are heading to Prince George.

A total of 64 New Brunswickers have spent time assisting in British Columbia this summer.
