Historic Tropical Storm Harvey in Texas is already limiting the fuel supply and that is having an impact on gas prices across Canada.
While prices in some areas have climbed as much as 10 cents per litre, prices in New Brunswick are going up this week but not by that much.
Senior petroleum analyst Dan McTeague with Gasbuddy.com believes gasoline prices will jump by 2.5 cents per litre when the provincial regulator makes an adjustment at midnight.
Diesel is also expected to increase by about one cent per litre.
