Gas prices are expected to jump in New Brunswick for the first week of 2017.
Senior petroleum analyst Dan McTeague with Gasbuddy.com believes gas prices will rise by about 2 cents per litre when the provincial regulator makes a change at midnight.
McTeague says diesel will also jump by about 1.5 cents per litre.
Fuel prices have been climbing across the country this week.
