If you didn’t get out to fill up Friday night, not to worry, gas prices aren’t up or down as of yet, despite reports that an increase was coming overnight.
Senior Petroleum analyst with gasbuddy.com Dan McTeague is expecting the interrupter clause to kick in, and he says, “An increase is coming, It’s just a matter of when.”
He says it’s not clear what that increase will look like.
This is due to the shutdown of refineries in the Southeastern U-S due to Hurricane Harvey.
