The Fredericton area is getting a new seniors home.
The government announced yesterday that they will soon be issuing a request for proposals for the construction of the 60 bed nursing home.
A demographic analysis showed a significant need for nursing home beds in that area.
This is in addition to a 240 bed nursing home that will be built in Miramichi.
