A new toll-free information line will help New Brunswick war vets seeking information on programs and services.
The information available will include health care, long-term care, and housing. Agents will also be able to link callers directly to Veterans Affairs Canada.
Calls to 1-844-462-8387 will be answered by trained bilingual agents who will offer a brief overview, eligibility requirements and information on how to access provincial government programs and services.
The service will be provided by the same agents who are responsible for the Seniors Information Line, which can be reached at 1-855-550-0552.
