In the latest update on the Arthur impact, NB Power says the damage is mostly located in areas around Fredericton, Woodstock, St. Stephen and Rothesay.
Since Wednesday night’s assessment, the utility has sent 33 additional crews to those hardest hit areas in central and southern parts of the province.
They now expect to have 90 per cent restored by tomorrow night, 95 per cent by Sunday night and 99 per cent by next Tuesday.
NB Power is reminding its customers that they are doing their best to put up a conservative estimate on when their power may be restored.
