NB Power is back before the New Brunswick Energy and Utilities Board for another hearing.
The utility is seeking a two per cent rate hike for all customers on April 1.
It is based on the utility’s revenue requirements of $1.8 billion for 2020-21.
The six-day hearing begins Wednesday morning in Saint John.
It comes just two weeks after NB Power appeared before the board seeking approval for smart meters.
Board members have not yet made their decision on that application.
