NBNU And Canadian Frontline Nurses Not Affiliated

The New Brunswick Nurses Union says it is not endorsing the Canadian Frontline Nurses group who have been holding rallies in front hospitals across the country.

In a post on Facebook, the NBNU states the Canadian Frontline nurses group has attracted anti-science, anti-vaccine and anti-public followers, who beliefs are the same.

But the union says it is in no way connected to that group.

The NBNU says the vast majority of nurses have seen first-hand the devastating effects of COVID-19 and understand that the only way out of this pandemic is through social distancing, masking, good hand hygiene, vaccination and following science-based public health directives.

The union also says that these rallies are not connected to their upcoming Day of Action on September 17th.
