An IT engineer and licensed lay minister will represent the NDP in the riding of Hampton.
Layton Peck moved to the town from Vancouver in 2013 after spending over three decades in the Canadian IT security space, where he held several positions with a variety of Fortune 500 and tech start-up companies.
Now, he is the founder and CEO of Urban Camper Productions, which raises funds and awareness around the issue of homelessness in Hampton.
Peck is also part of several committees and boards, including the Hampton Area Chamber of Commerce.
He also served as head coach of the Hampton High School football team and a coach of the Team New Brunswick Under-16 football team.
New Brunswickers will head to the polls on September 24.
