UNB Fredericton is receiving roughly $25 million from the federal and provincial governments to build the Centre for Healthy Living.
The Centre will provide teaching and research space for the Faculty of Kinesiology, which is the science of human movement.
The federal government is providing over $16 million, while the provincial government is contributing over $8 million, and the university will invest just over $11 million.
The investments were provided through the Post-Secondary Strategic Investment Fund.
