Nestle recalls Hallowe’en candy treat

Nestle Canada says one of its bars produced for Halloween may have contained plastic.

The food and beverage company is recalling six batches of KitKat Halloween Scary Friends.

They were sold in individually wrapped bars and boxes.

They were sold at various stores across Canada.

Consumers who have these products should look for the following batch codes:

There are no reports of anyone being injured or becoming ill after consuming the product.

Nestle is still advising anyone still with the chocolates to throw them out and contact Nestle’s customer support line for a refund.
