A new 60-bed nursing home in Fredericton is another step closer to getting built.
The department of Social Development says the process of choosing the builder of the new nursing home is now underway with three proponents moving to the request-for-proposals stage and they will submit formal proposals to the government in the weeks ahead.
It was announced in 2015 that a new nursing home would be built in New Brunswick’s capital city.
