New Agreement On Early Learning And Childcare

New Brunswick is part of a new agreement with the federal government to make early learning and childcare better.

The federal minister responsible for Families and Children, Yves Duclos says this is just a first step towards the long term objective of universality.

Duclos says $7.5 billion will be spent over 11 years aimed primarily at the most vulnerable children and families so they aren’t left out. He adds funding can also be used to better train workers in early learning and childcare.
