If you have an interest in the future of the Collections Centre on Douglas Avenue then you’ll want to carve out some time in your schedule for this.
New Brunswick Museum CEO Jane Fullerton says they’re holding two public update sessions on Tuesday where they will be presenting information on the work that’s been done, why they have requested a geotechnical survey, and more followed by a Q&A.
The Museum has been looking into the possibility of expanding the Collections Centre onto a portion of Riverview Memorial Park and Fullerton says they view that option as being beneficial to the city, the park, and community groups.
She says they would like to work with the city and the public on turning the park into an even stronger community asset.
The public sessions are at 12pm and 6pm at Market Square and refreshments will be available.
