New Brunswick NDP Announces November Convention

The New Brunswick NDP has announced plans for its latest biennial convention.

It is slated to take place at the Fredericton Inn from Nov. 19 to 21.

Leader Mackenzie Thomason says they have a lot of work ahead to rebuild the party, and the convention will go a long way to helping them toward that goal.

“Convention 2021 will have amazing policy to debate and will be a great chance to recharge ourselves, not only for the coming two years until our 2023 Convention, but also for the 2024 Election,” Thomason said in an email to party members.

In addition to policy debate, several offices will be up for election, including president and five regional delegates.

This will mark the first convention for the party in four years.
