New Brunswick represented behind the bench at 4 Nations Tournament

New Brunswick will be well-represented behind the bench at the upcoming 4 Nations Tournament, running from February 12 to 20, 2024.

David Alexander of Moncton, the goaltending coach for the St. Louis Blues, will take on the same role for Team Canada during the event. With years of NHL experience, Alexander has worked with some of the top goaltenders in the league, helping refine their techniques and strategies.

Joining him is Dr. Ryan Hamilton, from Plaster Rock who specializes in mental health and performance. Hamilton, who currently works with the Tampa Bay Lightning, will bring his expertise in helping players stay mentally sharp and focused during the tournament.

Team Canada’s roster also boasts a strong Maritime presence, with three key players hailing from Nova Scotia. Sidney Crosby, who will serve as captain, will lead the team alongside Brad Marchand and Nathan MacKinnon.

The 4 Nations Tournament will see top hockey nations competing against each other in a showcase of high-level talent. The four countries participating are Canada, USA, Finland and Sweden- and the games will be played in Montreal and Boston.
