New President Of The Saint John Sea Dogs Introduced

There’s a new face at the helm of the Saint John Sea Dogs organization.

Trevor Georgie, from Mississauga, Ontario, has been named the president of the team following the departure of now MP Wayne Long, who had held the position since 2005.

Before stepping into his current role with the Sea Dogs, Georgie was a consulting manager at one of the world’s largest sports agencies, Wasserman Media Group. Georgie has been involved with such brands as the Toronto Maple Leafs, Florida Gators, JUNO Awards and PGA tour events. He says he’s worked in all three sides of the sports business: property, partner and agency.

Georgie says he has a burning desire to win both on and off the ice and that the community deserves a winner. “One of the challenges, or, one of the opportunities, is gonna be elevating our in-game experience. We have an exciting product, the future is bright on the ice and we want to make sure that the experience in the area matches that or even exceeds that,” he says.
