It’s a dream come true for the folks at the Regional Y.
Their new home on Churchill Boulevard is finished and set to open next week.
President and CEO Shilo Boucher tells CHSJ News they had originally considerd the old Sears building in the North end.
She says the location on Churchill Boulevard was an opporotunity because it allowed them to build the Y they wanted to build.
Boucher give credit to her team saying they are working very hard but enthusiastic.
She adds they will be working all weekend to get ready for the Child Care Centre and Newcomer Connections to open on Monday.
It opens for everyone on Wednesday.
