The Saint John Police has released a statement about a case that’s garnered a lot of attention: a man grabbing and chasing two difference women in the uptown on January 14th.
Sergeant Lori Magee says the SJPD isn’t giving this case any precendence over any other file, but they are approaching uptown businesses, and requesting that they check their video surveillance cameras for a man matching the description. Magee says anyone who has to walk alone should make every attempt to stay in well lit, highly populated areas, be aware of their surroundings, and let people know where they’re going.
Magee declined to offer any interviews on these files and says the media will be updated when there’s more information.
