New welcome kiosk at Saint John Airport

There is a new space at the Saint John Airport to welcome conference delegates, athletes, students and newcomers.

A welcome kiosk has been set up at the arrivals entrance through a partnership between the airport and Envision Saint John.

“We frequently get calls from local community groups and other event organizers asking where they can set up a banner or provide transportation information to their arriving participants,” Lori Carle, the airport’s manager of marketing, public and corporate relations, said in a news release.

“This space was available, and we thought it was a perfect location to direct arriving guests.”

There is a screen and space for conference details and a counter for reps to greet their arriving guests.

In addition, the kiosk also houses local tourism info, maps, and helpful details for newcomers.

Jillian MacKinnon, vice president at Envision Saint John, said they were pleased to partner with the airport on this initiative.

“We understand the importance of welcoming and onboarding new residents, students, visitors, businesses, and investors to our region,” MacKinnon said in a news release.

The free space is available for non-commercial purposes by emailing info@ysjsaintjohn.ca.
