This hot, sunny and often weather is great for the beach–but potentially disastrous for forests.
All of New Brunswick is currently at the highest level of restriction for outdoor fires until we get some rainfall. Grass fires require permits, written burn plans and inspection by a forest service officer.
Under the latest fire restrictions anyone who has a fire could be charged with significant fines.
