No Canada Day fireworks in Saint John due to rain

Fireworks in the City of Saint John will not be going ahead on Canada Day.

The City says the July 1st display is being rescheduled due to forecasted rain and potential thunderstorms.

They will be included as a part of New Brunswick Day celebrations in August instead.

Canada Day Waterfront Festival activities in Saint John will still be taking place from noon until 5 p.m. at the Container Village on Water Street.
