No Evidence Of Criminality In Sudden Deaths: Police

Saint John police say there is no evidence of criminality after two sudden deaths earlier this week.

Police were dispatched to a medical assistance call at a home on Red Head Road shortly after 8 a.m. Monday.

Inside the home, officers discovered the bodies of a man and a woman.

“As a result of preliminary investigation, there has been no evidence collected to suggest that either of these deaths are criminal in nature,” police said in a news release Wednesday.

“The causes of both deaths remain under investigation awaiting further medical testing.”

Police said the names of the two individuals will not be released at this time at the request of the families.
