In an unexpected twist, Matthew Tucker’s jury trial set for mid-February will not proceed.
Tucker is charged in the November 2014 death of his mother Dorothy.
The 53 year old woman was reported missing and a large search was conducted before her body was discovered by hunters 10 days later near St. Stephen.
Following a plea change, Tucker will now be sentenced on February 15th at the Saint John Law Courts.
