People who were home at the time in an apartment building at 237 Main Street North were evacuated last night after the fire department discovered elevated levels of carbon monoxide.
The problem was traced to something that was wrong with a newly installed furnace. A technician was called to fix whatever was wrong.
The building had to be ventilated before the people who live there were allowed back in.
