The provincial government is increasing the number of summer jobs under the Student Employment Experience Development (SEED) program.
Premier Brian Gallant and Post-Secondary Education, Training and Labour Minister Francine Landry made the announcement yesterday, that the number of placements will increase to 1600, up from only 200 last year.
Interested students will need to complete an online application for the program and will receive labour market information.
Prospective employers can also go online to post their job offers.
