O.J. Simpson has been released on parole from a Nevada prison.
Simpson, who had served nine years of a 33 year sentence for armed robbery and kidnapping, walked out of the prison back door sometime overnight and was given the option to avoid a media circus that may have been waiting for him.
The 70 year old was granted parole back in July and shortly after that steps were taken to protect him with guards moving him to a single cell away from the general population.
Simpson will be under strict guidelines and must contact his parole officer on a regular basis.
There is speculation he will be headed to Florida to be reunited with his children.
