April 22, 1957 ~ December 9, 2025 (age 68)
With heavy hearts, the family of Theresa Marie Doucette announces her passing on December 9, 2025. Born in Salem, Massachusetts on April 22, 1957, she was the beloved daughter of the late Joseph Amos and Vivian (Acker) Doucette.
Theresa is lovingly remembered by her best friend and partner, Kathy Perry; her three brothers, Rheal (Charlene) Doucet, Yvon (Colette) Doucet, and John (Diane) Doucette; and her two sisters, Maxine Doucette and Elizabeth McKay. She will also be deeply missed by her many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and the numerous friends she made throughout her life.
Theresa dedicated many years of service to the Saint John Regional Hospital in the dietary department, and prior to that spent many years working at City Laundry. She had a lifelong passion for baseball—if she wasn’t playing, she was watching. She also cherished quiet evenings at home enjoying movies, as well as the many walks she took while exploring the city she loved.
Above all, Theresa was devoted to her family. Her kindness, loyalty, and gentle spirit will be remembered always.
Aside from her parents Theresa was predeceased by her sisters Madeline Hobbs and her husband Vernon, Nancy Ann Savoy and her husband Edmund, and her brother Joseph Albert.
Arrangements are entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (506-646-2424). In keeping with Theresa’s wishes there will be no visitation or service at this time. For those wishing to donate in Theresa’s memory may do so to Bobby’s Hospice or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
