One Dead After Fire On Natoaganeg First Nation

A woman has died after a fire in a mini home on the Natoaganeg First Nation near Miramichi.

The fire on the Riverview Road East broke out early Tuesday morning.

The blaze started in a shed, but quickly spread to the home. It was engulfed when firefighters arrived.

Three school aged children and their grandmother have also been displaced.

The Canadian Red Cross has assisted them with emergency lodging and purchases like food, clothing and other basic necessities.
