One man dead after crash in Falls Brook

A 26-year-old man from the Kedgwick region is dead after a crash in Falls Brook, near the Kedgwick River.

The RCMP say it happened around 2 a.m. Sunday morning.

They got a call that a single vehicle had crashed on a logging road in Falls Brook.

They believe the driver lost control while trying to avoid hitting an ATV and then went off the road.

The 26-year-old man was a passenger and died at the scene. The driver, a 31-year-old woman from Saint-Quentin, N.B., reported no injuries at the time of the crash.

A collision reconstructionist was on scene, and the New Brunswick Coroner’s Office is helping with the investigation.
