One New COVID-19 Case In Atlantic Canada

Only one new case of COVID-19 was reported Friday in the Atlantic bubble, and it was in Newfoundland and Labrador.

Health officials say the woman had recently returned to the province from Southeast Asia.

The province now has three active cases of the virus.

New Brunswick has three active cases — two in the Fredericton and one in the Moncton region. The last new case was reported Monday.

Nova Scotia has now gone nine days since its last confirmed case. There is one active case in the province.

Prince Edward Island has two active cases.
