One Week Without New COVID-19 Cases

New Brunswick has now gone one week without a new confirmed case of COVID-19.

Public Health reported no new cases of the virus on Tuesday. One more person has also recovered.

There are now four active cases in the province and all are in the Campbellton region.

Two of those people are in hospital, with one in an intensive care unit.

As we gear up to celebrate Canada Day, health officials are reminding people to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.

That includes following physical distancing, wearing a face mask when you cannot maintain physical distancing and limiting contact with higher-risk people.

You should also frequently wash your hands with soap and water, as well as clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces often.
