Oppenheimer rules Golden Globes

Oppenheimer dominated the 81st Golden Globes, winning five awards.

On Sunday night, the blockbuster film won for best drama, best director for Christopher Nolan, best drama actor for Cillian Murphy, best supporting actor for Robert Downey Jr. and for score.

Celine Song, Ryan Gosling and Martin Short were among Canadians nominated for Golden Globes, but they walked away empty handed.

Lily Gladstone won best actress in a dramatic film for Martin Scorsese’s “Killers of the Flower Moon.”

The first Indigenous winner in the category, Gladstone opened her speech speaking the language of her native tribe, Blackfeet Nation.
