Organigram Issues Voluntary Recall Of Certain Lots Of Pot

Organigram has issued a voluntary recall on certain lots of medical marijuana that were supplied between August and December 2016.

They’ve detected amounts of an unapproved pesticide not registered for use on marijuana under the Pest Control Products Act.

This has been deemed what they consider to be a Type 3 recall, which means the marihuana is not likely to cause any adverse health consequences..

Organigram is also working with Health Canada to try and determine how the pesticide came into contact with the the marihuana…

Clients who are affected are being contacted directly.
