Our Storm Is A Bit Simpler Now

The impending storm may be not as bad as we first feared.

We are still looking at 20 centimetres of snow by midnight but, it doesn’t look like we’ll be getting the ice pellets and freezing rain that was originally forecast.

Very strong winds will be blowing the snow around leading to possible whiteout conditions.
Wind speeds could reach 90 kilometres an hour along the coast.

It should start to warm up after midnight when it starts to rain.
